Why I share work in progress and what I’ve learned from writing in public.
Building in the open is more than just sharing a final product; it's about exposing the process, the failures, and the iterations that lead to the end result. In this post, I want to explore why I've decided to make chaoslab a public journey.
The Fear of Being Wrong
One of the biggest hurdles to sharing work early is the fear of being wrong or judged for unfinished ideas. However, I've found that the feedback loop created by sharing early is invaluable. It forces you to articulate your thoughts more clearly and often leads to insights you wouldn't have found in isolation.
Building Connection
When you share your process, you're not just building a tool; you're building a connection with your audience. People appreciate the honesty of a work-in-progress, and it creates a sense of shared ownership and community around what you're creating.
Stay tuned as I continue to share more about the technical and philosophical challenges of building chaoslab.
